Ipswitch Wins IP Insider Readers' Choice Award for Network Monitoring

Ipswitch WhatsUp Gold Network Monitoring Earns Choice Award from Readers of IP Insider for Second Consecutive Year

LEXINGTON, Mass. – Oct. 18, 2017Ipswitch®, the leader in easy to deploy, manage and use file transfer and network management software, is the winner of an IP Insider Readers' Choice Award 2017 in the network monitoring category. The company’s WhatsUp® Gold network monitoring software earned a gold award, announced in Augsburg, Germany last week. WhatsUp Gold earned a silver award for the IP Insider Readers' Choice Awards in 2016.

“Winning a silver award last year and now gold this year speaks to the trust our customers and partners have in Ipswitch’s network monitoring,” said Alessandro Porro, Senior Vice President International Sales at Ipswitch. “We are delighted to be recognized by so many readers of IP insider.”
Each insider portal – IP insiders, BigData insiders, CloudComputing insiders, DataCenter insiders, dev insiders, security insiders and storage insiders – named up to 10 major IT vendors per category in an editorial pre-selection. Readers then had the opportunity to choose their favorites across 43 categories. IP insider named three winners – Silver, Gold and Platinum – in seven networking categories. From April through August, over 30,000 votes were cast for the awards.

WhatsUp Gold is the favorite network monitoring tool of tens of thousands of IT professionals worldwide, delivering more flexible monitoring and visibility for the largest networks. One affordable license allows monitoring any mix of networks, wireless controllers, servers, virtual machines, applications, traffic flows and configurations across Windows, LAMP and Java environments. Users easily discover and generate a detailed map of their entire networked infrastructure. For more information, visit:
