LEXINGTON, Mass. – May 15, 2017Ipswitch®, the leader in easy to implement and administer file transfer and network management software, announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Joan Groleau, Director, North America Channel, to its prestigious 2017 Women of the Channel list. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

“These extraordinary executives support every aspect of the channel ecosystem, from technical innovation to marketing to business development, working tirelessly to keep the channel moving into the future,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “They are creating and elevating channel partner programs, developing fresh go-to-market strategies, strengthening the channel’s network of partnerships and building creative new IT solutions, among many other contributions. We congratulate all the 2017 Women of the Channel on their stellar accomplishments and look forward to their future success.”

This is Joan’s second consecutive year making CRN’s Women of the Channel list. For two years, Joan has overseen Ipswitch’s North American channel team so that all communications, sales, demand generation and acquisitions with key partners are aligned with Ipswitch’s mission to help small business and enterprise IT teams to successfully navigate the complex IT environment, including industry and government data security, compliance and regulatory requirements. She implemented a new program built on a micro-training curriculum where each concept is broken down into small segments, resulting in tripling partner participation. Joan also introduced Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) into Ipswitch’s distributor and reseller community, driving goals and programs to produce results collaboratively. Additionally, the team invested heavily in partner tools, communications, demand generation and vertical programs.

“I am honored to be recognized by CRN for supporting and strengthening the IT channel and all of our partners,” said Joan Groleau. “It is truly a pleasure to support the channel at Ipswitch where it is a group effort – our entire team is dedicated to putting the goals and missions of our partners and customers first.”

The 2017 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/wotc.
