Ribbon-cutting to Celebrate Opening of New Ipswitch Corporate Headquarters

Ipswitch Teams New Office Unveiling on Monday, November 13, 2017 in Burlington, Mass. with the Wonderfund Project to Support DCF Children

BURLINGTON, Mass. – Nov. 7, 2017Ipswitch®, the leader in easy to deploy, manage and use file transfer and network management software, is unveiling its new global corporate headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, November 13, 2017. The company is teaming its new office celebration with the Wonderfund service project to support the many children placed in the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) care. Formerly known as the DCF Kids Fund, the Wonderfund provides both emergency assistance such as clothing, toiletries and an age-appropriate item of comfort like a teddy bear for children being removed from unsafe homes and also funds enrichment opportunities like summer camp, music and art lessons, equipment and league fees for sports and other activities that can change the course of children’s lives for the better.

Massachusetts First Lady Lauren Baker and Vice Chair of the Wonderfund will be speaking at the ribbon-cutting. Also speaking are Representative Kenneth Gordon from the 21st Middlesex District as well as Tom Hopcroft, President and CEO of MassTLC. Siobhán Hanley, Vice President at IDA Ireland will be in attendance in support of the company and the Ipswitch EMEA Centre of Excellence in Galway.

Wonderfund CEO Erin Murphy Rafferty said, “We are so thankful to everyone at Ipswitch for making their move to a new headquarters an occasion to provide such tremendous support to the Wonderfund, and most importantly, all the kids we exist to serve. These are some of the neediest and most vulnerable children in our state, and the staff at Ipswitch will be making a major, positive impact in helping the Wonderfund provide them comfort and help at a difficult, even traumatic moment in their lives.”

Ipswitch is providing supplies for 120 emergency duffel bags to include new, seasonal appropriate clothes, toiletries, age appropriate comfort toy, meal gift cards and more. The Wonderfund is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) federally tax-exempt charity, relaunched in June 2017 with support from First Lady Lauren Baker. The ribbon-cutting is being held on World Kindness Day, an international observance that encourages individuals to overlook boundaries, race and religion. The event concludes with office tours and refreshments.
